Music24, a Bedfordshire-based Music Therapy Charity that supports adults Beds and Herts living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities or Mental Health challenges. We are looking for a number of energetic volunteers to join our team of fundraisers. This is a vital role within our organisation because we need to raise funds to support our much-needed work. Fundraising activities could include bucket collections, running your own fundraising event, or helping at fundraisers that we organise and engaging with the public.. We provide each fundraiser with all the equipment/materials necessary to fundraise for us, including a Music24 t-shirt, posters/flyers, unlimited sponsorship forms and basic training about all the charitable work we do so that you can spread the good word for us. You can also borrow our collection tins/buckets and one of our promotional roller banners. N.B. Music24 is a member of the Fundraising Regulator and adheres to a Fundraising 'Code of Conduct'. All our fundraisers gain as much as they put in. As with any fundraising, you will learn who your 'market' is and find ways around situations in order to reach your fundraising goals so its a wonderful learning opportunity. You can also do it all in your own free time and at your own pace. It can sometimes be challenging yet very, very rewarding. You'll be assured to know that every penny you raise will go directly to a local charity that goes above and beyond for the people they support. It will NOT go to pay London HQ overheads, or £60k+ CEO salaries. It will make a real difference and directly benefit YOUR local community.
