Trustee
Headway Luton
The main duties of the trustees are to ensure that Headway Luton carries out the charity’s aims and objectives, ensures Headway Luton is compliant with the law and to manage Headway Luton’s finances and resources properly. We currently have six trustees and have opportunities for more people to join us.
The Board of Trustee’s main role is to ensure that Headway Luton meets its legal duties, remains solvent and is well run. We set the strategic direction of the organisation and support the management team with the implementation of agreed operational objectives. We also look at innovative ways to raise awareness of acquired brain injury and our services. The Charity Commission for England and Wales have produced a trustee welcome pack where you can find out more about the role.
