Assistant Beaver Scout Leader - Bedford & Ouse Valley District Scouts

Join the team of leaders and help us provide fantastic opportunities to local young people. Providing everyday adventure for young people in the Bedford and Ouse Valley area covering Bedford, Kempston, Bromham, Wootton, Great Barford, Putnoe, Brickhill, Clapham, Sharnbrook, Harrold, Riseley, Colmworth, Oakley and all places in between! If you're interested in joining in the fun, we'll have a group near you!

Detailed Description

We always need adults who are keen to try new things and have fun! Join the team of leaders and help us provide fantastic opportunities to local young people. We are open to boys and girls from all faiths, backgrounds and abilities, and welcome everyone. What do you have to do? We meet weekly & are looking for someone to join our team of Leaders. If you can't be there every week that's OK, we understand and welcome you when you can come. Perhaps you could help us plan some of our fantastic activities or day trips instead. Whatever time you have to give, we can find a role for you that you will find rewarding. One week you may play volleyball, the next get crafty making puppets, the week after make a structure with spaghetti (yes spaghetti!) - we call this pioneering. What we can guarantee is that no two weeks are the same as the young people do different things each week to earn their badges and awards. Contact us for more information or a non committal chat about how you could help. There are groups all around Bedford and the surrounding villages wherever you might like to help. Alternatively, you could visit www.scouts.org.uk for more information about Scouting generally
