We're looking for someone to support visitors to the campsite, so willingness to meet and greet and answer questions. Support is provided by the rest of the District team who can offer advice and support to ensure the role is made as straightforward as possible. All volunteers require a DBS check (these are provided free of charge by The Scout Association)
The role requires working with other adults in a team both face to face and online, good communication skills and a commitment to getting things done. Volunteers have found that supporting Scout Groups not only helps enhance their CV but is rewarding community work.
