Kit & Equipment Manager

Assisting the club with it's away matchday operations, where kit/equipment transport, preparation and maintenance is concerned.
Specific duties will include: Matchday Preparation Transport, and set up team gear for all away fixtures. Lay out full kits and equipment for players and staff before every game, ensuring correct numbering according to team sheets provided by first team management. This job description is not an exhaustive depiction of all duties and responsibilities that you may be asked to undertake. Other tasks and areas of remit may evolve and present themselves when carrying out this role. There is an expectation is to work as many away fixture as possible. Must have their own vehicle and a Full UK Driving Licence. General Club Accountabilities To comply with all club policies, including health and safety, data regulations and other legal, ethical, and social requirements. To build and maintain good working relationships amongst fellow volunteers, Committee Members and supporters, whilst helping to sustain and enhance the club’s reputation. To keep confidential any information gained regarding the club and its personnel, to protect the professional integrity of the business. To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times. Person Specification – Essential Characteristics A self-starter with a high level of initiative, proactivity, and assertive approach. Uses initiative with minimal supervision. Can manage a heavy workload with strict deadlines. Flexible and willing to take on ad-hoc tasks as this role will require weekend and evening working. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

It would be preferable if the applicant had some experience in sports equipment management, particularly at a football club. However, a willingness to learn, and a positive collaborative attitude to be part of the club’s volunteer team is the only essential criteria. Initial induction, training and continual support will be provided, to cater for all levels of experience and confidence.
Free admittance to all Arlesey Town FC games Home & Away. During ATFC Home games, a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage from the Members Bar and one item of matchday food from the Food Kiosk (subject to availability).
Predominantly, the most crucial and essential time required of this role is before, during and after ATFC matches. These are played on Saturday afternoons (15:00pm Kick Off) and Tuesday evenings (19:45pm Kick Off).
