Detailed Description

If you can spare a few hours each month, you could help by: Making and serving refreshments Offering a warm smile and a friendly chat Helping our Family Support Team set up and pack away chairs, tables, and equipment If you enjoy helping others feel welcome, valued, and supported, we’d love to hear from you. A warm cup of tea made just for you and a slice of delicious cake might seem like a small gesture — but for the Parents and Carers of disabled children and young people, it can mean the world. Caring can be exhausting, isolating, and all‑consuming. Our well‑being groups offer Parents and Carers a rare moment to pause, breathe, and connect with others who understand their journey. Sometimes, that freshly made cuppa and friendly conversation is the highlight of their week — the little lift that helps them keep going.
