Maximizes Revenue: Major gifts (often 80/20 rule) make up a significant portion of non-profit income, making effective research crucial for financial stability. Manages Risk: Due diligence ensures prospects are reputable, avoiding potential reputational or financial risks for the organization. Strengthens Relationships: Allows for tailored communications and respectful, GDPR-compliant engagement that builds trust. Key prospect research tasks Build Donor Pool: Identify potential prospects (internal database, external sources). Qualify Prospects: Assess capacity, affinity, and connections to prioritize top candidates. Profile Prospects: Gather detailed background (wealth indicators, interests, giving history) to customize cultivation and solicitation. Robust Pipeline: Creates a robust and quality pipeline the right people the right ask. • General Admin • Goods knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point), e-mail, etc. • A methodical approach with the ability to work independently • Articulate with good written communication skills
