Gig Buddy (SG17) 5446
Living It Up
Supporting adults with learning disabilities or autism to access shared interests and activities. We are looking for a volunteer up for live music, cinema, swimming and gaming - could you be this buddy’s match?
Gig Buddies matches members and volunteers based on their interests so that they can enjoy shared activities together. Once matched the idea is that you do something with your Gig Buddy once a month. No special experience is required—just enthusiasm and kindness! We’re looking for people who are friendly, reliable and up for a laugh, as well as being keen to explore gigs, theatre festivals or sports without someone new. If you’re excited about making a genuine, lasting friendship, this could be the role for you! We are looking for a volunteer to match with a young buddy who enjoys attending live music concerts, catching a film at the cinema or a play at the theatre, doing a few laps at the pool, as well as being a budding musician who enjoys listening to a range of pop and rock acts. They are also a keen gamer, so if you know your way around an arcade (or home console) you may be in for some fun!
