Gig Buddy (MK40) 5451
Living It Up
Supporting adults with learning disabilities or autism to access shared interests and activities. If you like movies, concerts, swimming, gymming and eating out, you could be the perfect match for this buddy.
Gig Buddies matches members and volunteers based on their interests so that they can enjoy shared activities together. Once matched the idea is that you do something with your Gig Buddy once a month. No special experience is required—just enthusiasm and kindness! We’re looking for people who are friendly, reliable and up for a laugh, as well as being keen to explore gigs, theatre festivals or sports without someone new. If you’re excited about making a genuine, lasting friendship, this could be the role for you! We are looking for a volunteer to help a buddy access their favourite activities, including swimming, tennis, catching a movie at the cinema, and eating out. They’re particularly keen to go to music concerts (favourites include Ariana Grande and Abba), and would also like to try working out at the gym.
